Check out 2022 Latin Grammy nominees

This Tuesday (20), the nominees for the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards were revealed, one of the most important musical awards in the world. Big names in music are highlighted, among them the Brazilian phenomena Anitta, Marília Mendonça (1995-2021), Jão, Criolo, Caetano Veloso and many others.

Puerto Rican Bad Bunny leads the nominations. With 10 nominations in different categories, the rapper became the first artist to receive three consecutive nominations for album of the year.

Christina Aguilera’s Spanish-language album also brought her to prominence at the Latin Grammy Awards. The singer is in three of the four main categories of the award. Rosalía was nominated seven times, including song and album of the year.

Anitta secured two nominations, in recording and best reggaeton performance of the year, both with the hit Envolver. The nomination of Marília Mendonça is together with Maiara & Maraisa, in the category best country music album by Patroas 35% (2021).

The winners will be announced on November 17 at a grand celebration to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. In all, there are 53 categories, and the Tangerine list the main ones below:
