Connecticut’s indie jam band Goose has recently unveiled a vibrant new music video for their single “Give It Time,” which is set to feature on their upcoming album, *Everything Must Go*, slated for release on April 25 via No Coincidence Records. Directed by Michael Nuchareno, the seven-minute visual experience is a captivating blend of behind-the-scenes moments and exhilarating onstage performances.
The video showcases candid clips of Goose and their crew during various adventures, including pick-up basketball games, roller coaster rides, and quality time with a delightful shaggy dog. As the song transitions into its electrifying guitar solo, viewers are treated to a montage of the band’s dynamic live performances, highlighting their energetic stage presence.
About the Upcoming Album
*Everything Must Go* marks Goose’s fourth studio album, following their 2022 release, *Dripfield*. The album is produced by D. James Goodwin, who previously worked with the band on *Dripfield*. Notably, this album introduces new drummer Cotter Ellis, who joined Goose last year, adding a fresh dynamic to their sound.
Frontman Rick Mitarotonda shared insights about the album, describing it as a collection of songs that reflect different phases of the band’s journey. “These songs all come from different times and places, capturing a part of the journey of the band,” he explained. “It moves through time for us, but not in a tidy, linear way. Just like the band itself, it is okay for things to feel more like a landscape rather than a singular cohesive statement. It mixes various moods, ideas, and characters, and the common thread is that every piece is part of our journey, inviting everyone to join the celebration.”
Upcoming Tour Plans
Goose has a series of performances scheduled for February, with an extensive tour planned for the summer to support *Everything Must Go*. The tour is set to kick off on May 30 at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon, and conclude on June 29 at the Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut. Along the way, they will participate in several festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bottlerock Napa Valley, Bonnaroo, and All Good Now.
