Senegalese Illegal Immigrant Arrested in Philadelphia for Murder in Brazil
In a targeted enforcement operation on December 10, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Philadelphia apprehended Gora Tourie Fall, a 34-year-old Senegalese citizen who is wanted for murder in Brazil. Fall had previously been caught and released by the Biden-Harris administration’s Border Patrol in Eagle Pass, Texas, in April 2021, according to ICE officials. After being issued a notice to appear before an immigration judge, Fall was released on parole.
Discovery of Outstanding Arrest Warrant
ICE officials became aware of Fall’s outstanding arrest warrant in Brazil in May. As a result, Fall is currently being held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings. Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment on the arrest, but there has been no immediate response.
Concerns Over Terror Watch List
A report released in August revealed that nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list had been released into the United States during the Biden administration. Border Patrol agents have encountered migrants on the watch list from dozens of different countries. The House Judiciary Committee report, compiled by Republicans, stated that between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, more than 250 illegal aliens on the terror watch list were encountered at the southwest border. Of these, at least 99 were released into American communities, with 34 others still in DHS custody.
The report also highlighted that immigration judges granted bond to at least 27 migrants on the watch list who entered illegally. Additionally, tens of thousands of migrants from countries that could pose national security risks, such as Afghanistan, China, Iran, Syria, and Uzbekistan, have been encountered by Border Patrol. The report emphasized the concern of potential terrorists evading Border Patrol and entering the United States, estimating nearly 2 million “gotaways” since the beginning of the Biden-Harris Administration.
Securing the Border and National Security
Another report from the committee in October stated that over 1.7 million migrants encountered at the U.S. border originated from countries believed to pose a national security threat to the United States. These migrants, referred to as “special interest aliens” (SIAs), hail from countries identified by the U.S. government as having conditions that promote or protect terrorism. Despite the growing concerns of national security experts and immigration officials, the Biden-Harris Administration has been criticized for its refusal to address the national security implications of its open-borders agenda.
As immigration enforcement continues to be a pressing issue, the arrest of Gora Tourie Fall highlights the need for stronger border security measures and a comprehensive approach to addressing national security risks associated with illegal immigration.
