Jeff Beck, one of the greatest guitarists of all time, died yesterday at the age of 78 after contracting bacterial meningitis. He was best known for joining the English rock band The Yardbirds in the 1960s.

In May last year, the guitarist performed alongside Johnny Depp in the city of Sheffield, in the north of England. The actor appeared with Beck to perform a series of musical covers, including John Lennon’s “Isolation”, a track they collaborated on and released in 2020.
